West Ham United are close to signing Germany international defender Thilo Kehrer from Paris Saint-Germain.
Fabrizio Romano says that David Moyes is closing on over a deal which would add much-needed reinforcements to his backline.
Kurt Zouma is currently the only fit central defender at the club and the Hammers have lost both their opening two matches of the season.
Kehrer has apparently turned down the prospect of Champions League football with Sevilla to join the club.

West Ham close Kehrer
West Ham have been heavily linked with the German international lately amid their acute need for a new central defender.
Kehrer made 27 league appearances for PSG last season, although saw his game time reduced towards the end of the season.
Germany manager Hansi Flick, who once called him a ‘complete player’, is clearly a fan and Kehrer may well be moving with the World Cup later this year in mind.
Moyes desperately needs to increase the depth and size of his squad with another season of European football on the horizon at the London Stadium.
The Hammers are set to play their UEFA Conference League qualifier first leg against Viborg on Thursday night, and they will be looking to tee up another European adventure.
To go one better than last season’s Europa League run to the semi-finals, they will need the squad depth to compete on multiple fronts and Kehrer would be a welcome addition.
