We’re heading into transfer deadline day, and, as always, it’s basically impossible to predict what’s going to happen in the final hours of the transfer window.

Every single year there are late twists and turns in the transfer market, and according to Fabrizio Romano, there could be a late surprise with one Arsenal target.

Victor Osimhen has been linked with Arsenal this summer, and his future is still unresolved as we head into the final days of the window.

Speaking on Men in Blazers, Romano says that he can’t predict where Osimhen will end up this summer, claiming that even the player himself has no idea what’s going to happen.

Victor Osimhen could be set for a surprise move

Romano shared what he knows about the £50m man.

“I can’t predict that. Talking to all of the people involved in this story, I still can’t predict that and I can guarantee you that even the player doesn’t know what’s going to happen. It could be Chelsea it could be any other European club, he could stay at Napoli, he could go to Al-Ahli. There could be surprises.”

Osimhen needs a move

Victor Osimhen’s next steps are unclear, but what is obvious that he needs to move.

Osimhen has been pushing to leave Napoli for a while, and with Romelu Lukaku set to arrive, the Nigerian seemingly has no future in Naples.

Arsenal and Chelsea are both keen with the transfer deadline looming, while options in Saudi Arabia will also be open to Osimhen for another few days as the deadline in the middle-east is slightly later.

Osimhen needs to make a move in the coming days, and both Arsenal and Chelsea will likely have their eyes peeled monitoring any developments on this front.

Don’t be shocked if either London club makes a late move for Osimhen as we approach the end of the window.
