TBR View: Arsenal need to secure youngster’s future
What this season has taught anyone associated with the team is that the youngsters are the way forward, and the heart and soul of the team
In a campaign where the senior stars have failed to make their mark, the youth have stood head and shoulders above their more experienced colleagues.
Bukayo Saka was the breakthrough star last season, but, it’s the Croydon-born ace’s turn this time around and his displays have been nothing short of sensational. He tortured the Chelsea defence during Wednesday evening’s win, earning man of the match for his efforts.
His passing and movement as well as dribbling ability has set him aside from other players like Martin Odegaard, who joined in January with the hope of making a massive impact in the number 10 position. Instead, the exact opposite has happened and the Norwegian has been outshone by the Englishman.
Smith Rowe’s future is of the utmost importance given that he’s is one of the very few players who come out of this torrid season with any credit.
