Tottenham Hotspur will continue to press ahead with their pursuit of Adama Traore in the coming days, according to the respected journalist and transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano.
The saga between Traore and Tottenham has been rumbling on ever since the window opened. Spurs are keen to sign the Spanish winger this month, with reports claiming a move in the region of £20m could be on the cards. However, there has also been some doubt creeping in today.

Wolves are yet to accept any sort of offer and The Athletic reported today that some at Wolves even believe the deal to take Traore to North London is off. But according to Fabrizio Romano, that is not quite the case and Spurs will continue to press ahead in the coming days.
Traore finally got himself off the mark in terms of goals last week. In doing so, it pushed Martin Keown to brand the Spaniard as ‘awesome’ as he urged Arsenal to join the party and try and sign him.
However, it appears that it is Tottenham who front the queue. Spurs fans, then, will be hoping for positive news over the coming days when it comes to Adama Traore.
TBR’s View: Tottenham Will Be Annoyed If No Traore Deal
With how long this has rumbled on for, Spurs will be slightly peeved if they do miss out on landing Traore from Wolves.
Whether it be a loan or a permanent deal, you do get the impression it’s a deal Fabio Paratici needs to get over the line for Tottenham. Their fans, too, will now be expecting to see Traore soon.
This update from Romano is a good one though. It shows that Spurs are once again pushing for Traore and that they’ve not quite given up the ghost. One thing is for sure and that’s if he does sign, then Spurs are instantly a more dangerous side.
