Fabrizio Romano has just shared some very exciting transfer news for Everton fans
Everton have all-but completed the signing of Amadou Onana, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Toffees have “100 percent” reached agreement with Lille over the signing of the 20-year-old midfielder.
Onana will now undergo a medical tomorrow at Everton ahead of joining the Goodison Park outfit, Romano added.
The transfer insider, writing on Twitter, also claimed that the deal will include a 20 percent sell-on clause.
Everton are reportedly also “one step away” from re-signing Idrissa Gueye from Paris Saint-Germain.
The 32-year-old hasn’t been called up by his club ahead of their Ligue 1 meeting with Clermont on Saturday.
“Details being resolved,” added Romano.
West Ham had reportedly agreed a fee of £33.5m with Lille for Onana.
However, personal terms with the player proved an issue.
And now Everton appear to have successfully swooped in to sign the Belgium international.
Frank Lampard’s charges have made three signings so far this summer.
The Toffees have snapped up James Tarkowski on a free transfer and bought Dwight McNeil from Burnley.
In addition, Ruben Vinagre has arrived at Goodison Park on loan from Sporting Lisbon.
Everton get the new Premier League season under way on Saturday, hosting Chelsea in a 5:30pm BST kickoff.
