Tottenham Hotspur were heavily linked with Antonio Nusa during the January transfer window and speculation continues to do the rounds.
For instance, Belgian outlet Het Nieuwsblad recently reported that Spurs remain in the mix to sign the Club Brugge prodigy, seemingly monitoring his situation.
Although things appeared to be moving swimmingly in the Tottenham pursuit of Nusa, Premier League rivals Brentford got in there first.
That said, a failed medical seemingly put a halt to the £32million deal and opened the door once again for Spurs – or potentially Newcastle United to pounce.

Now, Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Nusa’s fitness, which seemingly bodes well for the player to make a move this summer.
The transfer insider, taking to X, reported that the 18-year-old has undergone new scans with the Norwegian medical team.
Those results reportedly corroborate Club Brugge’s analysis – namely that Nusa is medically 100 percent fit.
With regards to his future, Romano reported that a deal with Brentford remains under discussion.
Tottenham will surely fancy their chances of signing Antonio Nusa if Brentford deal falls through – TBR View
Tottenham shouldn’t be too concerned about the prospect of discussions still going ahead with the Bees as Het Nieuwsblad reported this earlier this week too.
The big news here is that Spurs shouldn’t be concerned about Nusa’s alleged failed medical, with two sources now stating that he’s 100 percent medically fit.
Obviously Tottenham aren’t frontrunners at present, but considering they’ve beat Bayern Munich and Barcelona to Radu Dragusin and Lucas Bergvall, they’ll be confident of making a move should things open up for them.
