Fabrizio Romano claims Nottingham Forest are 'one step away' from 'insane' acquisition
Nottingham Forest are “one step away” from landing Dean Henderson, according to Fabrizio Romano.
In addition, Manchester United are already in the process of bringing in a replacement for the Reds target.
Romano took to Twitter on Wednesday afternoon with his latest update on the negotiations.
He claimed that United are in talks over Watford goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann.

Also on Wednesday, The Express reported that the Henderson to Forest move would be a straight loan.
The Reds apparently wanted to include an option to make the transfer permanent for around £20million next summer.
However, United reportedly had no intention to accept these terms as Henderson has admirers at Old Trafford.
Therefore, Forest relented and accepted a straight loan so as to push the move through, added the report.
Nottingham Forest about to land “incredible” keeper?
Steve Cooper is looking for a new goalkeeper, with Bryce Samba set to leave the City Ground.
It looks as though Henderson will replace Samba, and Forest will be getting a superb goalkeeper.
Henderson has played second fiddle to David de Gea at Old Trafford over the last two seasons.
He only made three appearances in 2021-22, which came in the Champions League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
However, Henderson is proven at Premier League level.
He has made 49 top-flight appearances – 13 for Manchester United and 36 on loan at Sheffield United.
While at Bramall Lane, Henderson kept 13 sheets as the Blades finished ninth in 2019-20.
His efforts led to former teammate Sander Berge deeming him “awesome” and “insane”.
Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho lauded Henderson’s “incredible” development at Old Trafford and tipped him to become “phenomenal“.
