Fabrizio Romano claims Milan Skriniar to Tottenham deal 'almost impossible'
Respected journalist, Fabrizio Romano, has stated that Tottenham signing Milan Skriniar from Inter Milan is now ‘almost impossible’.
Skriniar has been linked with Spurs ever since the summer months. He was out of favour with the Milan giants for some of last term, which added fuel to the fire that he could be on his way out of the club.

However, now back in favour and with Inter said to be demanding over £50m to even consider a sale, Romano believes any interest Spurs had in Skrinar could prove fruitless now anyway.
“For Tottenham it is impossible to go for Skriniar at this moment. I want to say impossible, but it seems very unlikely. He’s valued at over 60m Euros and he’s a starter,” Romano said on his Here We Go Podcast.
Romano also went on to clarify that Skriniar’s situation is now different from the summer give his ascension back into the first-team picture with the club.

Spurs have also been linked with Eder Militao of Real Madrid. Talk of a loan move has been rife in recent days but Romano touched on this too, saying Madrid are apparently still hesitant over whether to do a deal.
TBR View: Spurs should move on, Skriniar was always going to be hard
Signing a defender who has been one of the most sought-after in Europe was never going to be an easy task for Spurs, so it makes sense for them to move on now really.
Skriniar is a class act and is back to his best form with Inter. The £54m price also means Spurs are unlikely to get him, especially due to the current pandemic affecting finances.
