Fabregas makes Anfield admission during Twitter Q&A

Cesc Fabregas has named Anfield as his favourite ground to play at.

The Spanish midfielder has played plenty of times against Liverpool.

Having turned out for both Arsenal and Chelsea in his illustrious career, facing the Reds isn’t a novelty for the 34-year-old.

However, that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been able to savour his trips to Anfield.

In a Twitter Q&A, Fabregas was faced with the question of which is his favourite ground to play at.

In a seven-word tweet, Fabregas claimed it was Anfield.

It’s hard to argue with the midfielder either.

The Merseysiders are famed for their fantastic atmosphere, especially so on European nights.

The 27 games that Fabregas has played against Liverpool is more tahn he’s faced any other side in his career.

Of those games, he’s won 10, drawn 11 and lost 6 (Transfermarkt).

That’s certainly a good record for the Spaniard, as not many can boast such a strong record against the Anfield faithful.

Fabregas has played in some intense atmosphere’s too.

The now-Monaco player has faced visits to Marseille’s Velodrome and Real Madrid’s Bernanbeu to name a couple.

However, no mention of any ground bar Anfield was in his tweet.

This will be something that many Liverpool fans will love seeing.

A lot of the Reds pride themselves on the atmosphere that they create inside the famous old ground.

On many an occasion is appears that the Kop can suck the ball into the net with the ferocity of the atmosphere.

Fabregas, having witnessed it first hand, clearly agrees.
