Fabio Cannavaro says one Spurs player has impressed him more than Harry Kane
Tottenham Hotspur duo Son Heung-min and Harry Kane have been praised by legendary defender Fabio Cannavaro.
And of the two Spurs stars, the 2006 World Cup winner says Son has impressed him the most.
Son has been incredible for Tottenham since joining in 2015 from Bayer Leverkusen for £27million.
That fee now looks like a bargain considering how well Son has done over the years.
The 29-year-old is closing in on 300 competitive appearances for Spurs and has registered 112 goals and 66 assists.
This season, Son remains in great form, with five goals and two assists in the Premier League and Europa Conference League.
And Cannavaro, one of the best defenders of all time, had kind things to say about him and Kane.
The Italy legend, speaking to The Sun on Thursday, said: “Son and Kane are very, very strong.
“The (South) Korean is the one who impressed me the most.”
While Kane is undoubtedly a world-class player, he has struggled this season, while Son has shown great consistency at N17.
With Antonio Conte now in charge at Spurs, it will be exciting to see how Son and Kane fare under the high-calibre Italian.
Up next for Tottenham is Sunday’s Premier League home meeting with Leeds.
