Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren is reportedly wanted by Italian giants AC Milan.
According to the Gianluca di Marzio, the Serie A club are eyeing a move for the 29-year-old and they he’s emerged as a priority for them.
The Croatia international moved to Anfield for £20million (BBC) back in 2014, but could soon have the option to move to the San Siro.
It may be a good time to offload Lovren in the summer, but it would leave manager Jurgen Klopp with work to do to reshuffle his defensive options.
Lovren is one of four senior centre-back options currently at the Merseyside club, so a quality replacement would be required if he exits.
The Champions League holders should go out to sign a replacement to compete with Virgil Van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip next season.

Klopp could look to use versatile ace Fabinho as an emergency centre-back if Lovren leaves, but he’s really settled in the midfield now and it would be a hinderance to him.
After a slow start to the season, Fabinho really impressed during his debut year in English football and developed into a key player for Liverpool.
The 25-year-old Brazil international is the best option at the club in the defensive midfield role and continues to go from strength to strength.
He does have the ability to slot into the defence, but the Reds lose so much when he’s not in the centre of the park breaking up playing and getting on the ball.
