Fabinho can dispel talk of PSG switch with dominant performance tonight

Fabinho arrived at Anfield in the summer to considerable excitement among the fans but struggled in the early weeks of his Liverpool career.

That slow start prompted reports that he would be the subject of a January bid from French champions Paris Saint Germain, who reportedly hold a long-term interest in the midfield destroyer.

Jurgen Klopp takes his Reds side to face the Parisians tonight in search of a result that could book a place in the knockout rounds of the competition they reached the final of last season.

Such a crunch clash offers Fabinho an opportunity to put that talk of a switch to PSG to bed; a dominant performance would underline his commitment to the Liverpool cause.

In recent weeks, Fabinho has started to look a lot more comfortable with what Klopp is asking of him, and the frequent switches to a 4-2-3-1 formation have helped the Brazilian.
