Aston Villa defender Tyrone Mings has taken to Twitter to give his thoughts on his side’s defeat in the Premier League last night.
The Villans were hoping to edge closer to the Champions League places but were beaten 1-0 by the Blades, who claimed only their fourth win of the league campaign.
David McGoldrick put United in front after 31 minutes after being picked out by George Baldock, sticking out his leg to divert his teammate’s cross into the net.

Villa were handed a boost in the second half when Phil Jagielka’s challenge on Anwar El Ghazi was upgraded to a red card following a VAR review.
However, the visitors were unable to make their numerical advantage count and failed to break down a stubborn Blades side.
Villa have impressed for much of the season and are much-improved from the relegation-battling class of 2019-20, but they’ve also suffered some lacklustre defeats this term.
