Leeds United moved back to the Championship summit yesterday with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Wigan Athletic. The result was perhaps fair based on the balance of play, but Wigan will feel they had done enough for a point.
Leeds fans saw some excellent displays from their players. Pablo Hernandez was sensational once again, Kemar Roofe never stopped working and Stuart Dallas had one of his better games in a Leeds shirt.
However, one player who continues to frustrate Leeds fans is Ezgjan Alioski.
The Macedonian did not have the best of games for Leeds yesterday. He struggled to have an offensive contribution and once again just seemed intent on fouling everybody in sight.

Alioski has struggled to find his best form for Leeds recently and he certainly rubs some fans up the wrong way.
It is his inability to provide anything telling in the final third that is most frustrating. Leeds fans would much rather see Samuel Saiz or Jack Clarke given the start instead, feeling they have the ability to break down opposing defences.
However, Alioski’s industry does make him a difficult man to drop. Bielsa needs physically fit, hard-working players to make his system work.
With that in mind, Alioski is likely to remain a first-choice pick going forward. But hopefully, he can provide a little more in the opposing third to get Leeds fans off his back.
