Leeds United recorded a 2-0 win over Ipswich Town on Wednesday night at Elland Road to help them move back to the top of the Championship table.
Manager Marcelo Bielsa saw his side turn in a professional display and he opted to switch to a three-man defence in the absence of Pontus Jansson.
The change of formation saw the Whites operate with wing-backs and Bielsa may have stumbled across the perfect way to get the best out of Ezgjan Alioski.
Alioski is an attacking winger by trade and has been a mainstay in the Leeds XI this season, but frustrates supporters at times due to his tendency to disappear in games.

The 26-year-old can be a real threat in the final third when on form and he’s also got an immense work-rate that is ideal in the Championship.
He was deployed as the left wing-back against Ipswich in midweek and showed that he can be effective in that role.
Alioski was eventually pushed further forward onto the wing as the game progressed, but there seemed to be a great balance to his game at wing-back.
The Macedonia international certainly has defensive strengths to his game that mean he can fill the role, while bombing forward on the left flank seemed to suit him.
Alioski definitely proved to Leeds manager Bielsa that he’s flexible in his game and it would be no surprise to see more of him in that position moving forward.
