A number of Liverpool fans have congratulated Isaac Mabaya after he signed his first professional contract at Anfield.
The 17-year-old is a talented and versatile player who joined the Reds academy at the age of six.
Mabaya broke into the Liverpool Under-18s team last season as a 16-year-old, and was initially deployed as a wide midfielder.

The Preston-born ace was switched to full-back mid-season, and he has played at right-back for Marc Bridge-Wilkinson’s U18s this term.
Mabaya has made two appearances at age level this season, playing against Derby and Leeds in the U18 Premier League.
He has made 21 appearances overall for the Reds, and last season, he registered an impressive four goals and five assists from 17 U18 Premier League games.
The teenager has also featured for England at U15 and U16 levels.
Despite his switch to full-back, a number of Liverpool fans reckon Mabaya’s best position is as a box-to-box midfielder:
The Liverpool U18s are next in action on Saturday afternoon as they host Sunderland’s U18s on Merseyside.
