‘Explode this season’: Some Arsenal fans amazed by star’s display in Rangers draw
Arsenal recorded a 2-2 draw in a pre-season friendly match away to Rangers on Saturday – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter praised their star Emile Smith Rowe for his performance.
The Gunners continued pre-season by drawing at Ibrox against the Scottish Champions.
Mikel Arteta’s side showed weakness in their own box by conceding twice from corners. Leon Balogun, along with Cedric Itten, were on the scoresheet for the hosts.
However, new boy Nuno Tavares scored his first goal for the north London club. Also, Eddie Nketiah netted a late equaliser.

Smith Rowe catches eye in Arsenal friendly v Rangers
A selection of Arsenal supporters on social media believe Smith Rowe was a standout for them, so are hugely excited about his potential in the upcoming season.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder played regularly last year, but appears to be growing in stature. He finished up with 11 goal contributions in 33 senior appearances last season.
The English creator picked up some great pockets of space against Rangers. For instance, one memorable moment came with a driving run that saw him evade tackles to fly up the pitch.
