Amazon Prime’s Take Us Home: Leeds United co-producer Stevie Rowe has told The Boot Room that filming is ongoing and there is potential of a third season or a feature-length episode on the club’s 2020-21 campaign.
NEO Studios, in partnership with The City Talking, produced both seasons on Amazon Prime – with the latter being released earlier this year. Rowe is head of production for NEO Studios, and played an integral part in creating the documentary.
Leeds fans watched on as two 45-minute episodes captured the drama of Marcelo Bielsa’s side going for promotion in the Argentine’s second season – and the sheer elation that ensued as Leeds returned to the top flight for the first time since 2004.
The Whites have caught the eye since returning to the Premier League, and it appears that a third season on Amazon Prime could be created. Rowe confirmed that cameras are still rolling at Leeds, and stated that there is potential of a third instalment.

“We are filming a bit,” Rowe told The Boot Room. “The episodes are called Take Us Home, and Leeds are home. So we are trying to think of a different way to approach the story and we think we’ve got one.
“I won’t speak about that right now as it will change. We are filming with a view to potentially another series, or a feature-length special. Whether or not we see that through is up in the air. But we have cameras rolling. Hopefully something comes of it.”
The Whites have got off to a flyer on the pitch, scoring three goals at Anfield in a 4-3 defeat to Liverpool, picking up wins over Fulham and Sheffield United – and then nabbing a point against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.
Now, Leeds fans could potentially look forward to seeing what has gone on behind the scenes at Elland Road already – and what could happen over the course of the rest of the season.

Speaking to LeedsUnited.News, Rowe also believes that the documentary has changed the club’s ‘Dirty Leeds’ nickname.
