Cristiano Ronaldo wants David De Gea in Saudi Arabia with him

TBR Football understands that Cristiano Ronaldo is hoping that his former Manchester United teammate David De Gea can be lured to Al-Nassr.

Al-Nassr are in the market for a new number one with former Arsenal man David Ospina looking likely top leave this summer.

TBR understands that Ronaldo has delivered a glowing reference to his bosses in Saudi, and they are now looking at De Gea – who they showed an interest in last summer when he departed Manchester United.

De Gea has since been without a club since leaving Old Trafford, and is believed to be considering his options and one of those is a move to the Saudi Pro League.

Ronaldo is also hoping that Al-Nassr win the battle to land Casemiro from Manchester United.

TBR understands that United have held talks with the Pro-League about a deal for Casemiro and a number of their clubs are keen on the former Real Madrid man.

Ronaldo is empire building

There’s no doubt Ronaldo has a big influence on things over in the Saudi League and clearly, he’s now using his name to attract players.

The idea of signing David De Gea is one that works – in theory.

The Spaniard has been without a club since leaving United and it’s quite amazing that he hasn’t managed to find a club just yet.

If Ronaldo can indeed land De Gea and Casemiro for Al-Nassr, then it’s hard to look past them really as being champions next season.
