Everton winger Yannick Bolasie has heaped praise on Arsenal talent Folarin Balogun after he scored another goal for the Gunners in the Europa League.

The 19-year-old put the seal on a 4-2 victory for Arsenal with the final goal against Dundalk.

Balogun is tipped for big things and after finding the net against Molde last month, he was on the scoresheet once again last night.

Bolasie is in limbo at Goodison Park having failed to find a new club during the summer transfer window.

He spent last season on loan Sporting Lisbon but failed to earn a permanent move to the club.

After clearly watching last night’s game, the 31-year-old had a message for the Gunners regarding their young talent.

Balogun looks like developing into a future star at the football club – if a new contract can be agreed.

Previous reservations about the pathway to the first-team should now be quashed and his European performances should put him in good shape.

In Mikel Arteta, the Gunners have a manager who is willing to place his trust in youth and that should please Balogun.

The American-born striker has been in great goalscoring form for the academy ranks.

This season he has three goals and two assists to his name for the academy ranks, highlighting that his game is about more than just goals.

Arsenal have struggled for goals this season and that could prompt Arteta to bump him up the pecking order in the Premier League.

Balogun’s stock will have risen after his two Europa League goals and the Gunners must do all they can to keep the £15 million-rated player around.
