Reported Arsenal target Yves Bissouma impressed fans, neutrals and pundits alike with his latest performance.
The 24-year-old, who currently plies his trade for Brighton, was reportedly the subject of interest from the Gunners in January.
According to football.london, Arsenal made contact with Michael N’Cho, Bissouma’s agent, during the winter transfer window.
The report also claimed that the Mali international would choose the Gunners over any other Premier League club if they came in for him.
Bissouma has looked a cut above for the Seagulls this season, and his performance against Everton on Monday night was especially impressive.
According to Squawka, Bissouma won more duels than anyone else (10), made the most successful tackles (five), and had the joint-highest amount of take-ons (three).
Meanwhile, Whoscored reported that the midfielder registered an 86.8 percent success rate from his 53 passes on the night.
He also delivered three accurate long balls and registered two key passes, three clearances, three shots and three dribbles.
Needless to say, Gary Lineker was thoroughly impressed with Bissouma’s efforts:
What an exceptional footballer is @Yves_Bissouma 👌🏻

Bissouma joined Brighton from Lille in 2018 for a reported £15million fee, and has made 88 appearances for the Seagulls, including 31 this season.
He is contracted to the Amex Stadium outfit until the summer of 2023.
