Following Morgan Schneiderlin’s switch from Everton to Nice, a number of their fans have been hailing the Frenchman’s arrival from Goodison Park.

Schneiderlin joined Everton in January 2017 from Manchester United and made 88 appearances in all competitions for the Toffees, scoring once.

However, the 30-year-old only managed 18 appearances in all competitions this term, including 15 in the Premier League, partly due to knee surgery.

On Tuesday, Everton confirmed that Schneiderlin had sealed a move to Nice for an undisclosed fee, reported by Transfermarkt as being around £2million.

While the reaction from Blues fans to his departure was fairly mixed, plenty of Nice fans were delighted to welcome the 15-times capped France international to the Allianz Riviera.

Here is some of the reaction from the Eagles supporters on social media:

Ben Nissart: There he is! EXCEPTIONAL! Thanks @ogcnice and @HillFabien YOU ARE A GENIUS

Nice, managed by former Arsenal midfielder Patrick Vieira, finished fifth in the 2019-20 Ligue 1 season brought to a premature conclusion due to the global health crisis.

Everton, meanwhile, are back in action on Wednesday night with a trip to Premier League basement side Norwich City.
