A number of Arsenal fans have welcomed the report in the Daily Mail linking the Gunners to Lee Buchanan.
The outlet claims that Arsenal are planning a summer of widescale changes, with a number of players earmarked for sale and others being linked with a move to the Emirates.
Derby left-back Buchanan is one of the names mentioned in the report, a player who, according to Rams boss Wayne Rooney, is “one of the best young left-backs in the country”.

The 20-year-old has come through the ranks at Pride Park and has clocked up an impressive 43 senior appearances for the East Midlands club.
Furthermore, Transfermarkt shows that his contract only runs until next summer, and should Derby get relegated, they could well cash in on him.
At present, the Rams sit 21st in the Championship table on 43 points from 45 games, three points ahead of Rotherham, who have a game in hand.
And their recent form is poor – they’ve lost their last five league games in a row.
Kieran Tierney has cemented his place at left-back but the Gunners could do with a good understudy, and Buchanan certainly looks like he fits the bill.
