A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to praise Oliver Casey for his performance in the Whites’ Premier League 2 victory and title triumph last night.
Mark Jackson’s charges, who needed just a point to secure the Division Two title, ran out 2-1 winners at Aston Villa on Friday night.
The result means that Leeds have won promotion to the first division in their very first campaign at this level, after Thorp Arch was upgraded to Category One.

Sam Greenwood opened the scoring with a superb free kick just four minutes in, and Jack Jenkins made it two on the hour to put Leeds well on the way to the title.
Aaron Ramsey scored a great free kick of his own late on to halve the deficit, and in injury time, Elia Caprile pulled off a superb save before Casey blocked the rebound.
The 20-year-old put in a solid showing and was relatively untroubled by £22million striker Wesley Moraes, who was making his comeback from injury.
And plenty of Leeds fans were pleased with Casey’s display, taking to social media to sing his praises:
