Graham Roberts has taken to Twitter to suggest that he expects Dele Alli to have an incredible season for Tottenham Hotspur – insisting that he could see the Englishman scoring up to 20 goals for Mauricio Pochettino’s men.
The 23-year-old has not had the easiest time over the last year following an incredible start to his Premier League career.
He scored 27 league goals across his first two seasons with Spurs. However, he scored just five times last term, and is yet to open his account for this campaign having only played for 31 minutes.
Nevertheless, Roberts suggested on social media that he can see the attacking midfielder rediscovering his very best form over the course of the season – and went on to make a big prediction regarding his goalscoring return this year.

Tottenham could certainly do with Alli getting back to his best in the very near future. The club confirmed on their official website on Tuesday that Giovani Lo Celso is set to be out until October due to injury.
It is a big blow for Pochettino’s men. But they certainly have the quality in their ranks to cope without the summer signing over the coming weeks.
However, Spurs are going to need players such as Alli to step up. But Roberts believes that that is exactly what the midfielder is going to do.
