Arsenal continued their lengthy unbeaten run on Sunday, yet the draw at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers came as a disappointment for the high-flying Gunners.
The home side went down 1-0 in under 15 minutes, with Ivan Cavalerio firing past Bernd Leno after a slick passing move with Raul Jimenez.
Yet that was the only instance in which Arsenal’s German goalkeeper was beaten all match.
Leno turned in an excellent display between the sticks to preserve a draw for the Gunners, pulling out remarkable save after remarkable save in a performance that was rightfully applauded by the Arsenal faithful.
During the game’s closing minutes, Adama Traore burst clear for Wolves and looked set to win it late for the newly-promoted club. Yet true to form, Leno stood tall and strong, cutting off the attacker’s angle and saving with ease.
Some Arsenal supporters were quick to credit Leno with the point, and implore his fellow teammates to congratulate him for his saves.
