Tottenham Hotspur have started this season brilliantly, and the scary thing is that they seem to be getting better.
The north London club look like they’re growing in confidence each and every week, and certain players appear to be improving each and every time they step onto the pitch.
Speaking on ESPN, Janusz Michallik has reserved some special praise for Destiny Udogie, claiming that the defender is getting better and better in every single game he plays.

Udogie is improving every week
The pundit shared his verdict on Tottenham’s Italian star.
“Micky Van de Ven, show me a better centre-back right now. Top three in the Premier League easily the way he’s played so far. I look at Udogie, the upside and his ceiling, where is it right now? Another player who came from a modest side in Serie A and he’s getting better and better every game,” Michallik said.
Udogie is evolving
Watching Destiny Udogie evolve as a footballer has been frightening if we’re being honest.
He came to Tottenham as a young wing-back who was questioned about his ability to play in a back four, before transforming into one of the best left-backs in the country.
Meanwhile he’s also evolved into a modern inverted full-back too, as we saw against Fulham on Monday, and, as you may expect, he’s taken to that role like a duck to water too.
Of course, as always, a lot of credit has to go to Ange Postecoglou here, but, at the same time, the player himself deserves his due praise for working this hard and applying himself in such a way that has allowed him to flourish in new surroundings and in new positions.
Tottenham got a gem in Udogie, and the fact that he cost just £15m is already looking a bit ridiculous.
