Everton are reportedly interested in signing Jordan Lukaku this summer. The club’s search for a new left-back has been an arduous one this summer. Kieran Tierney proved too expensive, Lucas Digne is proving a difficult negotiation and now it is the Belgian being lined up.
According to Cittaceleste, the Toffees have made a move worth £9 million for the player which has been rejected.
And yes, for those not in the know, his second name is not just a coincidence. Jordan is the younger brother of Romelu Lukaku, the former Everton star.

The Belgian striker scored 87 goals for Everton in his four seasons at Goodison Park before joining Manchester United last summer for a fee in the region of £75 million.
Everton’s move for Lukaku junior comes a year or so too late for Romelu to like out his ultimate football dream.
“It was emotional. My ultimate dream is to play with my brother at the same club.”
Indeed, as reported by Il Messaggero, Romelu pushed Manchester United to move for his sibling this summer.
But if Jordan does head to Everton, the pair will at least be close in the North-West of England. If Romelu wants to reunite with him maybe he should head back to Everton. If only.
