Whilst the transfer window may be shut in terms of Everton bringing players in, it seems the club could still be looking to do some business today. The transfer window for most of Europe shuts later today and Everton have plenty of players they will want to offload from the wage-bill.

So who is most likely to be on their way out of the club today?

Yannick Bolasie appeared to accuse Everton of playing with his career ‘like LEGO’ on social media over the weekend. The DR Congo international reportedly rejected a move to CSKA Moscow this week, according to Sky Sports journalist Alan Myers.

Everton will be desperate to get his wages off the books and will hope to find another interested party.

Cuco Martina and Oumar Niasse are in similar situations. Martina was a Ronald Koeman favourite who spent last season on loan at Stoke City and Feyenoord. There are currently no reports linking clubs with the player, so a release may have to be on the cards.

Niasse has been linked with Trabzonspor. Those reports from Fanatik have however died down so it will be interesting to see if Everton can find a buyer for the Senegalese striker.

Cenk Tosun has also been linked with an exit. Aksam in Turkey are reporting that Galatasaray are ready to make a late swoop to sign the player. However, Tosun is happy to fight for a role at Goodison Park and told beIN Sports last week that he has no intention of returning to Turkey.

Maarten Stekelenburg was linked with a move to Real Madrid as goalkeeping cover by the Daily Mail. That seems dependent on Keylor Navas leaving for PSG.

Then there are the Everton youngsters who could depart. The likes of Fraser Hornby and Callum Connolly have recently departed on loan.

Beni Baningime looks the most likely. Midtjyllands Avis report that Danish side Silkeborg remain keen on a loan after a previous attempt stalled.

So it seems that as many as five players could be on their way out of Everton today. At the very least the Toffees will want to shift those high-earners off the wage bill.
