Everton are reportedly watching attacker Yussuf Poulsen from German club RB Leipzig.
According to the Express, Toffees manager Marco Silva has sent the club’s scouts to watch the Bundesliga centre-forward.
Poulsen has made a decent start to the new season with Leipzig, scoring one goal and supplying six assists in six games across all competitions.
The 25-year-old is experiencing Champions League football this term and has proven himself to be quality in Germany’s top-flight during recent years.
He is a Denmark international with a 6ft 3in physical frame that means he holds the ball up well and is also unselfish.
Poulsen usually plays as part of a two-man attack and strike partner Timo Werner usually gets the headlines, netting seven times in as many games so far this season.
But the duo have a great partnership in attack together and it’s a throwback to the kind of combinations that used to be common in football.

Silva needs to find a solution to his weak Everton attack and that’s why ramping up interest in Poulsen could be a wise move.
The Leipzig man is the type of attacker that brings teammates into play and Everton youngster Moise Kean would surely love to play next to him.
The Merseyside club signed Kean in the summer from Juventus to become the first-choice striker, but he’s had just one goal in seven games across all competitions so far and is yet to light up Goodison Park.
Silva’s summer addition Kean would definitely benefit from better service and having a strike partner may help.
Poulsen surely has all the attributes to be a hit in the Premier League and potentially help Everton get the best out of 19-year-old wonderkid Kean by playing alongside him.
