Everton are reportedly interested in defender Ruben Aguilar from French club Montpellier.
According to Calciomercato, the Toffees and Crystal Palace are both interested in him ahead of the summer transfer window.
Aguilar is a talent unknown to Premier League audiences, but has made a name for himself in his homeland France.
The 25-year-old is an all-action right-back impressing this campaign for Montpellier, who are fifth in the Ligue 1 table.
He could be a brilliant under the radar signing for Everton if they step up interest in him, as they could do with a successor Seamus Coleman next season in the full-back department.

Aguilar has been thriving as a right wing-back this season and could slot in nicely to Marco Silva’s system at Goodison Park.
He is a rapid full-back that likes to go forward and help in with attacks, with crossing an important part of his game.
The defender has supplied three assists so far this season and also scored a stunning goal against Lyon in December that he hit like a rocket.
Aguilar is also part of a well drilled Montpellier defence and he could turn out to be a wise target for Everton.
There is no guarantee that he would make a seamless transition to the Premier League, but he appears to tick a lot of boxes and Everton should continue to monitor him closely.
