Everton are reportedly interested in Inter Milan midfielder Roberto Gagliardini.

According to Inter Live, the Toffees and West Ham are both keen on the Series A ace this January.

The report details that a £22million offer has been tabled by one of the Premier League clubs for the Italy international.

Gagliardini is the latest name to crop up on the Everton radar and he could be an excellent addition at Goodison Park if a move is eventually completed.

The 24-year-old has scored two goals in 11 games this season during an average season for Inter, but he’s got untapped potential that could see him develop into a great player.

Gagliardini is an all-action central midfielder that is strong on the ball and can play a box-to-box role.

The 6ft 2in ace makes several tackles and interceptions in games, while his physical presence makes him strong in the air too.

He’s not quite had it all his own way at the San Siro since joining from Atalanta, but a move to the Premier League could help get him back on track and near his best again.

Gagliardini is still young enough to improve and the versatile midfielder could offer some extra quality in the centre of the park at Goodison Park.

Manager Marco Silva is keen to push his team on towards the European spots and the Inter ace would be another positive step in that direction.
