Everton are reportedly eyeing playmaker Miguel Almiron from MLS outfit Atlanta United and the club should look to fend off competition for his signature in January.
According to the Sun, the Toffees are joined in the hunt for the 24-year-old alongside West Ham and Newcastle United.
The report details that the Paraguay internatonal is valued at around £15million after his impressive form in the US and is expected to move in January.
Everton appear to be in the mix for his signature and the technically gifted ace could be a great addition at Goodison Park.
The attacking midfielder made 35 appearances in the recent MLS season, scoring 13 goals and supplying 13 assists in return.

But his potential arrival can’t jeopardise the position of Gylfi Sigurdsson in the Everton XI.
Almiron is predominantly deployed in the number 10 role behind the centre-forward, but would have to bide his time to fill that void at the Merseyside club.
Sigurdsson, 29, is currently demonstrating some of his best football in an Everton shirt in the advanced playmaker role and he has to be kept in a central position
He has suffered in the past from being pushed out into wide areas, where he is not so effective and history can’t be repeated in that sense.
