Everton are reportedly interested in signing defender Eray Comert from Swiss club Basel.
According to the Daily Mail, the Toffees and Arsenal are both keen on the 21-year-old ahead of the summer.
It is understood that the Merseyside club even considered a £7million move for the centre-back back in January.
The report further details that Basel will listen to offers for him in the summer for around £5million, as they could lose him for free the following year if he stays.
Comert has been a top performer for Basel this campaign and that has alerted some top European clubs to him.

Everton should be all over a potential swoop for the defender, who is already a key player for his club side and has great potential.
He has captained Switzerland at Under-21 internatonal level and the Mail’s report also tipped him for a senior call-up due to his impressive form.
Comert is a ball-playing centre-back that could match the style Marco Silva is trying to implement at Everton and has the qualities to play out from the back.
His £5million fee could turn out to be a stroke of genius later down the line and it means he is certainly worth the risk, which is why it could be a blinder if the Toffees can snap him up.
