Arsenal attacker Alex Iwobi has reportedly emerged as a late transfer target for Everton this summer and he could be a brilliant under the radar addition for Marco Silva’s team if a deal is negotiated.

According to Sky Sports, the Toffees have seen a £30million bid rejected for the 23-year-old.

But the report details that the Merseyside club could return with an “improved offer” before the deadline.

Iwobi faces stiff competition for a regular spot in the Arsenal team this campaign, so he could be an exciting Everton target.

The Nigeria international is not one of the marquee names in the Premier League in terms of attackers, but he could surprise a few if he does end up at Goodison Park.

Iwobi does go slightly under the radar for his ability and he’s someone that aged 23 is still developing.

The left-winger made 51 appearances across all competitions last season for Arsenal, scoring six goals and supplying nine assists in return.

He’s a speed machine that is great when dribbling at defenders and isn’t given enough credit for his involvement in the final third.

The wide man certainly can improve in terms of his decision making, but he could add some real extra quality in the final third at Everton and it may be a great place for his develop his game with more minutes on the pitch.

Iwobi has had to deal with a stop-start time at Arsenal due to plenty of substitute appearances, but is now coming to a point where he can mature and is a possible strong investment.
