Everton’s extremely talented under-21 side has been producing some top talent in recent times, including young Welsh attacker Nathan Broadhead.
Everton are clearly fond of the player, as they handed him a new contract until 2021 at the start of the month.
He was then immediately loaned out to Burton Albion to get some regular first-team football.

Yesterday he made his full debut for Nigel Clough’s side and he scored both goals as the Brewers defeated Gillingham 2-1 in their League One clash.
It was a performance which had Clough very impressed, as he explained to the Derby Telegraph.
“But he does it in training, even in the week we’ve seen him, he’s curled a few in like that and caught goalkeepers by surprise.
“It was a lovely goal. We were more impressed with the second one actually, to come from the position he was in and to be in the middle of the six-yard box, tapping it in.
“He’s going to get more goals like that. He’s quite graceful, the way he moves with and without the ball, and it was a great ball from Ryan Edwards.”
Everton fans have always been aware of the Welsh under-21 international’s talents. The left-winger has impressed for the past few seasons under David Unsworth and some fans have wanted to see him get a chance in the first-team.
He is certainly not yet at that standard. However, he showed for Burton yesterday that he has the potential to grow throughout this season.
If the winger can continue to thrive at the Pirelli Stadium then perhaps Everton might finally be able to develop him into a player capable of making the first-team at Goodison Park.
