Southampton have set an asking price of £25 million for reported Everton target Che Adams.
Journalist Ben Jacobs wrote on Twitter that the Toffees are still keen on the Saints striker as they look to boost their firepower.
Everton sold Richarlison at the start of July and Frank Lampard is still looking for a new forward with weeks of the transfer market left.
Meanwhile, Adams scored twice for Southampton in their weekend win over Leicester, as they came from behind for the second weekend running.

Everton target Adams will cost £25 million
That Richarlison money has bolstered Everton’s budget, even if they do have to balance the books somewhat after years of spending.
The spending power could yet be further boosted by the sale of Anthony Gordon, who is attracting keen interest from Chelsea.
But it is important that Lampard gets the right man through the door to score the goals to avoid another season battling relegation.
Armando Broja is also a target on a loan deal from Chelsea, and he has been linked with a Goodison Park switch throughout the summer.
Perhaps Everton and Chelsea could do a deal which sees Gordon and Broja swap clubs and get Everton a real boost to their transfer kitty.
On the other hand, Gordon came through the ranks at Goodison Park and is a real cause for optimism for the future, and his departure would only hasten the need for firepower and Adams could be the man to try and provide it.
