Everton star’s brother reckons he is due to join Champions League club

Moise Kean has continued to star for Paris Saint-Germain despite the return of Mauro Icardi from injury, but his brother has told TuttoMercatoWebas per Teamtalk – where he reckons the Everton striker will end up.

Kean, 21, was allowed to leave Everton on loan last summer and made the somewhat surprising move to join Paris Saint-Germain. However, the Italy international has since starred in France, scoring an impressive 16 goals in 34.

Ahead of the summer window, there is plenty of speculation surrounding his future. Does he return to Everton, given his impressive form? Do PSG look to orchestrate a permanent deal? Or could another club become interested?

Certainly, Juventus have been strongly linked with Kean and now his brother has told TMW that he reckons Italian champions Juve will look to bring the £53,000-a-week (Spotrac) attacker back to Turin in the coming months.

“It seems difficult to return to Everton, despite being owned by the English. At PSG, he is comfortable. But in football you never know, anything can happen,” Giovanni Kean said. “As a Juvefan, I hope Moise will return to Juventus.

“At the right moment my brother and Raiola will choose the best option. Would Moise be convenient for Andrea Pirlo? Surely. But, apart from my brother, from the outside this year the enthusiasm [at Juve] has been lacking.”

TBR’s view – Wherever he goes, Everton need to cash in

It is simple. Kean does not suit English football yet and having spent £25million in the summer of 2019 to sign him – as per TeamTalk – Everton need to bring in as much of that figure or even more when it comes to cashing in.

Kean has been in excellent form but it is in a lesser league of France. It suits all parties if Kean moves to either PSG or Juventus – Everton get their money back and Kean joins a club he has played for before, and has scored goals.

Juventus, of course, are one of 12 clubs to be announced as founding members of the Super League.
