Everton star Richarlison has developed an amazing working relationship with Goodison Park boss Carlo Ancelotti.
And in an interview with the Toffees media team, the Brazilian revealed how Tite, his national team manager, is also a big fan of the Italian.
Richarlison has been sensational for Everton since joining from Watford in 2018, and in 104 Blues appearances, he has registered 39 goals and 9 assists.
The 23-year-old made his Brazil debut whilst at Goodison and now has 20 caps to his name.
Speaking with the Everton media team, Richarlison spoke of how Tite admires Ancelotti, one of the world’s most successful managers, after working under him a few years ago.
“The Brazil coach, Tite, is a big fan of Carlo’s as well,” said Richarlison.
“Professor Tite spent some time at Real Madrid (where Ancelotti was head coach between 2013-2015) observing Professor Ancelotti’s methods.
“If Professor Tite has learned from him, there is a lot more he can teach me.”
It’s great to see Richarlison singing Ancelotti’s praises, and with the veteran coach saying the Everton ace is among the 10 finest forwards he’s managed over his long and illustrious career, it shows the respect and admiration is mutual.
Everton’s season may have had its ups and downs but last week’s win at Liverpool shows the quality is there and, with Richarlison in attack and Ancelotti in the dugout, the future looks bright for the blue half of the city.
