Everton are reportedly interested in signing centre-forward Patrik Schick from Italian club Roma.

According to TuttoMercato, the Toffees and RB Leipzig are both keen on the 23-year-old.

The report details that he could be available to buy for around £20million, while a potential loan offer may also be accepted.

Schick is a left-footed striker that has hardly been tearing it up at Roma this season, with just five goals in his 27 appearances across all competitions.

But he’s had to be content with several substitute appearances due to the presence of Edin Dzeko and he’s not enjoyed the best of spells since he moved to Rome.

The target man is still someone that fans on Merseyside could get excited about and Everton should take a risk by stepping up interest in him in the summer.

Schick is a powerful striker that offers a presence in the final third and he could be a real hit in the Premier League if given regular game time.

He recently impressed for Czech Republic against England despite ending up on the wrong end of a 5-0 scoreline and was one of his team’s bright sparks.

Everton need to fix their striker problem going into next season and Schick could be the £20million solution that could thrive off quality service from the likes of Gylfi Sigurdsson and Richarlison.
