Everton should roll the dice by pursuing Juventus striker Moise Kean

Everton could do with a new centre-forward through the door at Goodison Park in January, as they are having to rely on versatile attacker Richarlison as the main option.

Marco Silva’s squad is crying out for some more competition at striker alongside Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

The Merseyside club should take a gamble by considering a move for teenager Moise Kean.

According to the Chronicle, Newcastle United have scouted the Juventus centre-forward and are keen on making a new signing this month.

It is understood that Juventus are prepared to listen to loan offers for Kean, but so far have rejected approaches from Italian clubs Chievo and Genoa.

Everton should throw their name into the hat for the 18-year-old and offer him a shot in the Premier League with them.

Kean is renowned as one of the best young talents around and made his first-team debut back in 2016 as a 16-year-old.

The striker has scored twice in eight games for Juventus’ main team, while he also has a senior international cap for Italy.

He is a powerhouse that can play the lone striker role and has immense potential, but needs regular minutes to fulfil that.

Everton should certainly consider the wonderkid a risk worth taking at least on loan for the rest of the season and they could unearth a real gem in Kean.
