Everton should join race for Derby County defender Jayden Bogle

Everton need to find a long-term successor to Seamus Coleman at right-back, as he won’t be around for ever at Goodison Park.

The 30-year-old showed great signs of recovering from injury in the recent season and edging somewhere back towards his best.

He may still be able to play an important role for the Toffees in future years, but they need someone behind him putting pressure on for a starting XI position.

German newspaper Bild reports that Jonjoe Kenny is nearing a move to Schalke, which would leave the right-back area a little light in Marco Silva’s squad.

The Merseyside club should consider joining the race for Derby County’s Jayden Bogle, as he would be a great option for them to consider.

According to the Mail, Brighton have held talks about a £10million move for the Championship full-back.

The 18-year-old is a major talent that has made the breakthrough under Frank Lampard and looks destined for top-flight football.

He’s still a little raw around the edges and has a mistake in him, but Everton should hijack interest for the teenager and tempt him to Goodison.

Bogle is an attack-minded right-back that loves to fly forward and at his young age still has so much potential to fulfil.

He would make an ideal understudy to Coleman moving into next year and be a worthwhile investment.
