Everton should hijack interest in Croatian winger Ivan Perisic

Everton are at a low point of the season after exiting the FA Cup at the hands of Championship outfit Millwall on Saturday and there is plenty of work to be done if they want to secure a European spot in the Premier League.

The Toffees could do with a boost at Goodison Park and a marquee signing to improve the attack would be ideal.

Marco Silva’s side should plot an ambitious swoop for Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic and hijack Arsenal’s reported interest in him.

According to BBC Sport, Arsenal have approached the Serie A club about the 29-year-old attacker.

The report details that Arsenal want to obtain him on loan for the rest of the season, with the option to land him on a permanent basis for £35million in the summer.

It is understood that the wide man is open to leaving Inter and that is why Everton should at least try land the high-profile name.

Perisic is a dazzling attacker that had a brilliant World Cup last summer with tournament runners-up Croatia and is a special talent.

The left-winger is a trickster with great dribbling ability and he’s proven his qualities against top opposition.

He has the express pace too that terrorises defences and there is a good chance he could succeed in the Premier League.

Everton could do with adding more star quality to their team and Perisic would be another crown jewel that improves Silva’s options.
