Everton already have a number of players within their squad with past connections to Manchester United and they should consider another raid on Old Trafford in January.
According to the Daily Mirror, midfielder Andreas Pereira will be wanted in the New Year as Jose Mourinho’s side prepared to cash in on his sale.
It is understood that the likes of Monaco, Inter Milan and Valencia are all keen on landing the 22-year-old.
But the report details the Brazil international would rather stay in England, with Arsenal and Chelsea both interested.
Pereira is set to cost around £10million and that is a bargain price that Everton shouldn’t be prepared to overlook.
The Merseyside club should join the race to sign the technically gifted ace, who earned his one senior Brazil cap in September 2018.
He is a youngster stuck on the fringes at Manchester United this campaign and has made just five senior appearances, but could be a great addition at Goodison Park.
Pereira is a versatile midfielder that can play in the centre of the park as a pass master, while he also demonstrated out on loan with Valencia that he’s got the trickery to play in wide areas too.
His £10million price tag could look a brilliant price once he’s given a regular run of games in the Premier League and Everton may be the perfect destination.
