Everton are in need of extra firepower this summer, and Wissam Ben Yedder should be worth some consideration by Marcel Brands.
The Frenchman is reportedly interesting Manchester United, who are apparently prepared to trigger the player’s £35.9 million release clause (ABC de Sevilla).

United appear likely to sell former Toffees striker Romelu Lukaku, and if that happens they will obviously need a goalscoring replacement.
Everton struggled in front of goal last year at times, with Richarlison having to shift inside to help out.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin did well in the second half of the season but it hasn’t worked out for Cenk Tosun.
Everton need someone to put the ball in the net on a regular basis and Ben Yedder’s recent record suggests him as being that man.
TBR’s view
He may be 28 which would perhaps go against Marcel Brands policy, but Ben Yedder is definitely worth considering by Everton.
Last term he plundered 30 goals in all competitions, taking his tally to 70 in 134 appearances – a prolific rate.
His record during his younger days at Toulouse was also very respectable – he scored 71 goals in 174 appearances.
In his last seven seasons, Ben Yedder has notched at least 15 goals in all competitions.
Ben Yedder is a brilliant finisher and also has the ability to drop deep and take players on.

He is primarily known as a goalscorer but across his stints with Toulouse and Sevilla he has chalked up 44 assists, highlighting his impressive creativity.
Everton need someone to make things happen in the final third and Ben Yedder certainly does that.
