Everton should consider a move for Monaco attacker Keita Balde this summer, who could be a real hit if he moved to England for the first time.
The 24-year-old plays for French club Monaco, but spent last season out on loan with Italian outfit Inter Milan.
He’s a winger that is renowned for his pace and trickery, which is why he could light up Goodison Park if given the chance.
Balde is currently away on international duty with Senegal at the Africa Cup of Nations and is teammates with Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye.
According to Sky Sports, Arsenal are monitoring Balde this summer as they search for a wide player.
The report details that he’s keen on a move to the Premier League and would cost between £25million and £28million.
Everton should join the race for the African dazzler and offer him a route to English football with them.
Everton do have options out wide such as Bernard and Richarlison, while Theo Walcott and Ademola Lookman are behind them in the pecking order.
Balde would certainly crank up competition in the Toffees squad if he joined and would be an exciting target.
His price tag of around £25million would represent decent value for money in the current market and at his age he’s still got plenty of room to develop.
He has 44 goals and 37 assists in 200 games at senior level across spells at Monaco, Inter and Lazio, which demonstrates he can cut it at the top would be a strong target.
