Everton should be looking to bring in a couple of fresh faces over the summer if they are to really challenge for European spots and manager Marco Silva needs to start identifying potential targets.

The Merseyside club could do with some extra quality in wide areas, which is why they should be eyeing a major Ligue 1 talent.

Marcus Thuram is an attacker currently playing for French top-flight club Guingamp, but his side are seven points from safety and facing relegation as it stands.

But the Frenchman has still managed to shine in a struggling team, scoring 11 goals in 29 games across all competitions this season.

The 21-year-old is a quick attacker that is dangerous from the left flank with his pace and trickery, while he’s a goal threat too.

Everton should consider moving for Thuram, but would have to hijack reported interest in him.

According to Le10 Sport, Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund are both interest in snapping up the winger at the end of the season.

It is understood that he’s likely to become available in the summer at an affordable price, with two European giants waiting in the wings.

But Everton should try offer him a better route to first-team football at Goodison Park and snapping up the potential star for their frontline options could be a masterstroke.
