Everton should consider a move for midfielder Youri Tielemans

Everton could certainly do with some extra options in the centre of the park, as there is very little in terms of quality options behind Andre Gomes and Idrissa Gueye.

The Toffees should scouting the market for potential targets and someone that should crop up on the radar is Youri Tielemans.

The 21-year-old midfielder is part of a struggling Monaco team in Ligue 1, but he is a highly-rated youngster with immense potential and could be a star for the future.

According to the Daily Mail in its print edition (26 January, Page 116), Leicester City are reportedly interested in bringing him to the Premier League.

Everton should join the hunt for the central midifdler that could crank up competition for places at Goodison Park.

Tielemans is a midfielder that burst onto the scene as a youngster years ago and he’s already played over 200 times at senior level aged 21.

He made a name for himself as a goalscorer in his homeland Belgium with Anderlecht, before eventually making the switch to France with Monaco.

The Belgium international has five league goals already under his belt this season and having someone that can chip in with goals from deeper would massively help out Everton.

Tielemans can be a deep-lying playmaker with his passing and technical quality, while he can shoot from range too.

Monaco’s star would add another important dimension to Marco Silva’s team and that is why Everton have to join the race for him.
