Everton’s desire to sign a centre-forward is no secret, as versatile attacker Richarlison has been their best option in the striker role this season.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Cenk Tosun have shown moments of quality at Goodison Park, but the Toffees could do with another central option in the final third.
One man that should be creeping up on the radar of the Merseyside club is Tammy Abraham, who is on loan at Championship club Aston Villa this season from Chelsea.
It looks like they have missed a trick by not chasing the England Under-21 international, as he could reportedly be on the move in January.
According to the Sun, Chelsea have accepted an £18million bid from Wolverhampton Wanderers for Abraham.
It is understood that the 21-year-old will end his loan spell early with Villa and begin talks with Wolves over a permanent switch.
Abraham has scored 16 goals in 20 appearances for Villa so far this season, with his instinct as a clinical centre-forward shining through.
The youngster performed well during a loan stint with Swansea City in the Premier League and deserves his shot at the top.
He’s certainly not the finished article and needs to work on his all-round game, but £18million could turn out to be an absolute bargain for him.
