Everton are reportedly on the verge of selling Goodison Park academy graduate Fraser Hornby for £1.8million.
According to French newspaper L’Equipe, the Everton youngster is in advanced talks with Ligue 1 outfit Reims and will leave the Toffees to join them when the summer transfer window opens.
Hornby, a versatile 6ft 4in forward, joined Everton from Northampton Town in September 2014 in the summer of 2014 in a £65,000 deal, according to Herald Scotland.

The Scotland youth international has made one senior appearance for the Toffees to date, against Apollon Limassol in the Europa League in 2017 (Transfermarkt).
Hornby has been in great form for both the Everton Under-18s and Under-23s over the years, and in order to get competitive senior football, he joined Belgian side KV Kortrijk on loan.
He impressed in the Belgian top flight, making 14 appearances and claiming four goals and an assist, but with the league being rendered null and void, his work there is done.
Although Everton are set to earn roughly 28 times what they paid for Hornby in this reported sale, it’s still a bad call – he has shown great potential in the academy and on loan at Kortrijk.
His height, his versatility – centre-forward, second striker and even attacking midfielder – and his age, not to mention his decent goal return, surely merited a closer look from Carlo Ancelotti.
After all, Dominic Calvert-Lewin – another tall attacker from the academy – needed some time to really get to grips with Premier League football, but that he’s done, and he’s now indispensable.
